Description
Cefixime is a medication used to treat various body areas infected with germs. It is a member of the cephalosporin medication class. It functions by either eliminating bacteria. The most common forms of availability are capsule, tablet, and powder suspension. It is not effective against viral illnesses like the common cold or flu; it is solely indicated for bacterial infections.
Dosage:
The recommended dosage for children is 8mg/kg/day administered as a single dose.
Usual Dosage is as Under:
1 – 4 years : 1 Teaspoonful Once a Day
5 – 9 years : 2 Teaspoonful Once a Day
10 – 12 years : 3 Teaspoonful Once a Day

Indications
