Description

This medicine is used to treat psychological disorders, such as:

Dosage

Take as per doctor’s prescription. The dosage depends on what your doctor suggests to you, based on your age, weight, and immune system condition. Do not stop the medication abruptly:

Adult Dosage

The starting dosage is 20mg daily for adults. The doctor may need to adjust the dose. However, the usual dosage should not exceed 50mg/day.

Child Dosage

Use is not recommended for children.

In case of Overdose

Overdose symptoms include irregular heartbeat, fainting, severe dizziness, seizures. If you think you have used too much of this medicine, talk to your doctor. Seek medical emergency help immediately.

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose, make sure to take it as soon as possible the same day. If you don’t remember missing the dose, don’t double it. Consult your doctor on how to adjust the missing doses.

How To Use

Take the tablets daily in the morning as your doctor has recommended. Take the medication regularly and simultaneously each day to get the most benefit from it. Do not take more of it, do not take it more often, and do not take it for a longer time than your doctor ordered.

When Not to Use

Do not use this medication if:

• You have a hypersensitivity or are allergic to paroxetine.
• You have hepatic or renal insufficiency.
• You have a heart problem – because this medication can cause irregular heartbeats.
• You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• You have glaucoma – this medication can increase the pressure in the eye.
• You have epilepsy.
