Meter Compatibility: Check Before Ordering
BS-602 strips are not universal glucometer strips. The manufacturer’s instruction manual identifies the SEJOY BG-707, BG-707b, BG-709 and BG-709b meters as compatible models. SEJOY’s BG-710 product information also identifies BS-602 as its strip type.
Check the exact meter model and its user manual before purchasing. Using an incompatible strip can produce unreliable readings.
How to Use the Test Strips
- Wash your hands and dry them thoroughly before testing.
- Insert a new BS-602 strip into the compatible meter in the direction indicated in its manual.
- Obtain a blood sample using the meter’s recommended lancing procedure.
- Apply the blood drop to the strip’s designated sample area and allow the meter to complete the test.
- Read and record the result, then discard the used strip safely.
Follow the instructions supplied with your specific meter. Do not reuse a test strip.
Storage and Handling
- Store strips in a dry place between 1°C and 30°C, according to the manufacturer.
- Keep strips away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture.
- Do not refrigerate or freeze the strips.
- Keep them in their original packaging with the container cap tightly closed.
- Remove one strip at a time and use it promptly.
- Check the printed expiry date. The manufacturer’s insert specifies use within the applicable shelf-life period, including six months after opening, whichever limit is reached first.
